As in life ,you will grow and keep making progress with your chosen exercise program only when you continually push the limits of what you can do.
To make progress with your workouts, you need to increase your body ‘s workload gradually .but it’s not as simple as “lift heavier weight each time you go to the gym”. You also have to ensure that you don’t burn out or fatigue . Following an exercise program that’s too taxing on your body would be counterproductive-instead of making progress, you will open up your body to the risk of injuries that could keep you out of action. For sufficient progressive overload, you need to tweak three factors of your exercise program-Frequency, Intensity and Time.
